Health Crisis in Indonesia

I want to express how painful to look at the ratio number of health workers to the people in Indonesia. I have just watched this video and realized many things about Indonesia's health crisis. It is only 0.6 per 1000 people in Indonesia while Malaysia is doing 2.2 per 1000 people in 2022. For the basics, we all want to have a good health service. Health is one of the essential aspects of our life. No health, no life. There are several things I have concerned about this matter.

The first one is why mostly I hear that it is hard to get the same chance to be a doctor in Indonesia. Okay, I agree upon we have our own standards and it is hard to fulfill. But we can not avoid the fact that most senior doctors don't treat their juniors objectively. I can not really tell where I get this particular information but many of my friends in medical school said this to me. The senior doctors have to show a good manner as well, not just enforcing the juniors to do so for you only. Do not ever let your ego control everyone and at the end of the day makes everyone not comfortable with it.

Secondly, I am just afraid that there are some doctors said that they only want to serve people for the sake of money. This is also not a good reason for you to be a doctor. If you want to make money, you should do a business or any activity that makes you profitable.

But again, I don't have any capacity to judge these doctors I mention the reasons. Almost all of the doctors that I have ever met are good and they treat me as a patient professionally. I am just hoping that someday this country will have sufficient resources on medical aspects.
